Facility felt like a hotel instead of an independent living facility. The food was okay. The residents seem happy with this community. My negative no employee/contact person are in the building from late afternoon until the following morning.

I moved my parents here 2 years ago from Arizona. It was a difficult adjustment for them, but the staff at Verena made the transition so easy. My mom enjoys not having to cook any more and enjoys the delicious food prepared by the chefs. My parents got involved in Bingo and play about twice a week. My mom was also excited they have a Mahjong group as she played in Arizona. There is a monthly calendar with daily activities, so there is always something to do. For the past two years, I have lived at Verena at Bedford Falls independent living facility. When we tired of taking care of a large home, yard, and all that goes with owning and caring for a home, we made an appointment to visit Verena. We walked in and immediately felt a peaceful warmth that I had never experienced. It was where we belonged! After my husband died, I was able to carry on with my home and garden. Then my health changed. I decided to try independent living. This was an excellent decision for me. Sold the house, redistributed the unnecessary household items etc. I found it super easy to fit into my new lifestyle. Many different backgrounds, personal histories and experiences. The top category is the meals/dining. Meals are excellent with many choices and substitutions allowed. Where else, if you don't like the three main dinner entrees could you be offered filet mignon as an alternative? Based on the experience I have had so far, I would recommend this community to other families.

I would highly recommend Verena at Bedford Falls. I think they do a great job attending to needs of residents as well as varied activities and trips. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The housekeepers are thorough and the grounds are kept well. I also think the shared garden is a great idea. The building is dog friendly also!

It feels like a hotel, the food is incredible and the service is top notch! We have recommended to others. My uncle is very happy with the transition to Verena he has had a wonderful experience.

The biggest complaint was around the food service. When we toured it was fabulous, but after she moved in the service became slow, the quality of the food was mediocre, lacked variety and certainly wasn't worth the long wait! Limiting which meals are available was a problem because she rarely took advantage of breakfast meals. Mom was still buying groceries and making her own meals more frequently than we had hoped.
