We recently had to put our elderly dog to sleep. He had been with us for nearly 13 years and it was an incredibly difficult decision. We had only recently switched vets, and so we had only seen the wonderful group of people at VCG a few times. I had a great experience with Dr. Barnes and her staff. My kitty siblings were exposed to lilies and I felt they were in good hands here. They were very kind to our scared babies and even brushed them while they were being examined. I really appreciated her countenance during such a stressful time.

I'm surprised by the bad reviews. I've been going to this location for a few years now and never had an issue. They're apart of the larger Veterinary Care group that has a been different Brooklyn/Queens locations. My dog also prefers this location and gets so excited during EVERY visit. With the pet industry bringing in billions and lots of folx getting pets during the pandemic, the prices are less than ideal. as always, the care my cupcake receives from DR, Sanabria and the staff is exceptional . I have known Donna for over 20 years and have been going to Dr. Sanabria since her inception in the Maspeth location . for those who don't know the doctors and staff were originally in the Maspeth queens location and were relocated to the Williamsburg office. Took my pup today for a check up (allergies) and the vet assistant named Erica was AMAZING! She made my pet feel very comfortable and had so much knowledge. She provided great preventive care tips that I will be utilizing. Definitely hope she is there next time we visit. Also it was my first time in the office since they started letting people back in with their pets. Awesome vet office. Clean and spacious. So spacious! Very nice staff at reception as well. Over all great visit.
The vets are very caring and the nurses are excelente. They are very good and they explained everything to me, they are so empathetic and ethical. I have a teacup Yorkie who had several things going on, one being sever diarrhea with blood which freaked me out cause I had just got her and she was 9!wks old, they did all that was needed and detected what was going on. They gave me the medicine needed and were so compassionate about her care too I really recommend it. The next day the vet called to check up on her.

Dr Cohen is amazing. Your facility should be proud to have a doctor like this. She's been taking care of my dog for over a year I brought her to Forest Hills a year ago and she was nearly dead. Not only did she see my dog and help her and not do extensive testing on her she gave me her personal phone number and even made sure that my dog was OK after every procedure the next day or every exam she loves what she does she has a heart of gold I started with her in Forest Hills followed her to Whitestone then Astoria and now Br... read more
