In my opinion, the best restaurant in Indy.
I ate dinner at Vida on Friday (2/2/18) and let me tell you, it was one of the two best meals I've had in my 13 years living in Indianapolis. A beautifully done remodel and expansion of the Italian restaurant that had previously been at that location. Very warm, inviting, and comfortable environment. Vida goes to 11. If you live Mesh and haven't been to Vida yet, get ready! It's all the little twists and turns and creative spins in elegant dining combined with superb attentive service that makes every visit to Vida so memorable. Also renowned pastry chef Hattie McDaniel is a GENIUS who might just achieve world peace!
We arrived and got seated at a premium table for the first time. Tim was our server. Very educated and informative about the menu. Zasaric was awesome like New Orleans and the old fashion equally matched. Short ribs so tender better than anything we have had anywhere in the states. Scallop Crudo amazing and so was the beef tartar. Donuts were awesome. Will def return
If you are looking for a restaurant where the wonderful food is also a work art, this is the place.
A great dining experience from reservations through dessert!
VIDA is always fantastic, but this last dining experience was a WOW! My friend and I have been there several times, but this time we wanted to share the Devour Indy experience with another friend. (He is quite the world-travelled foodie) and, like us, he thought it was absolutely delightful! He had the Devour menu which he loved. Everything about our experience was terrific! The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and provided great customer service. Food was delicious! We will return.
This is by far the best dining experience I've had in Indy in recent memory. Food was delicious, service was impeccable, and the atmosphere pleasant. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 5th anniversary!
