We have been to Vida several times and thoroughly enjoyed each time until last Saturday. First, the restaurant was cold. So cole that the waiter brought blankets for the three ladies. Unfortunatly, that was the only thing he did well. He was overbearing, condescending and inattentive. He got the order wrong for one guest, took it back but didn't bring the correct one until the rest of us had finished. He was willing to comp that meal but it was too late. Very unique menu! Definitely a "foodie" restaurant
Birthday. The kitchen got a little backed up, but the manager made things right. The ambience and delicious food made up for the lag in service.
I could have made a meal on the foie gras alone. Halibut was very good also.
The 4-course dinner was perfect and a real bargain at $65. The food was perfectly prepared and really, really good. I recommend the chicken, shrimp, and lemon lush. My husband loved the trout and donuts. Everything was delicious.
The food was wonderful. We had the 4 courses for 65 and every dish was superb. The waiter Tim was helpful, knew about the dishes, explained anything we wanted to know. I can't say enough wonderful things about this. I would go again. The menu changes with the season I can't wait to see what the Chef does next.
We love Vida! The food is always exquisite
Superb experience at Vida! It was not too crowded on a Wednesday night and so we had some quiet conversation. Our server, Alex, was patient, helpful, and attentive. Every dish our table of four shared was fantastic, from appetizers to salads to entrees to desserts. All were thoughtfully prepared and presented. The warm ricotta doughnuts were melt in your mouth delicious! We loved the fresh herb garden on the wall and the see-through kitchen was spotless. A standing ovation for Vida!
First time visiting Vida and was excited to give it a try. Was not disappointed! Food was wonderful and the service was great. I was definitely outside of my comfort zone and tried some items that I didn't recognize, and was very glad I had. We did the 4-course meal and each one was beautiful and very tasty.
