This was our fourth or fifth visit to Vida. We had a friend in town from New Orleans, where I grew up, so it would have to be special to impress either of us, or my foodie boyfriend. It was. Vida is probably my favorite restaurant in all of Indiana. They maintain an amazing menu with local components that capture so many great flavors and taste aspects. The service is incredible and extremely helpful and I have never received a bad recommendation from wine to food to dessert. The ricotta doughnuts are a must to finish any meal. To cap it all off, the space they've made is beautiful. Eating there is a great experience from start to finish.
We've eaten here a half dozen times since they opened and it just gets better each time we visit. My only suggestion would be to add a couple more pieces of bread to the base charcuterie offering. 2 pieces aren't enough with the meat, cheese, etc.
Food top of the line. Prices top of the line too. While you can order a la carte, don't. The menu is designed as a multi course tasting menu with several small courses. No matter how good an entree looks, you'll leave hungry if you just order one dish.
Vida is one of our favorite restaurants in Indianapolis. The food is creative and well prepared. The service is outstanding. Since the food is on the pricier side, we tend to dine here for special occasions. A huge plus, is that the restaurant is not noisy, like so many of the newer places. We can actually carry on a conversation without shouting! Very highly recommended.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at Vida. I had never heard of Vida. So happy I found them. Amazing for a special occasion. The ambience was fabulous. Beautiful, modern and cozy all at the same time. Our server was great. He was very pleasant and attentive.
Great food, delicious cocktails. Most of the menu seemed to have an Asian flare (ginger, gochujang, soy sauce, etc), and everything I tried was spot on.
Most complete, soup to nuts, awesome dining experience we had in a while.
Excellent service and meal. The waitress was exceptional: very attentive, but not obnoxious. We got the four course selection and each course was better than the one before. Especially the dessert!!
