My wife and I went to Vida for our 1st anniversary and the experience as a whole was incredible. Most notable was the service. Our waiter was engaging, helpful, and had a 6th sense for when was the right time to swing by and check up. The food was absolutely incredible as well, fresh, delicious and beautiful. They had a tenderloin of A-5 wagyu beef that was on special while I was there, and since it is nearly impossible to find I had to get it. We have not had a better meal EVER. This place is the best little restaurant in Indy. Pricey but worth every penny. We will go back.
the food was excellent. no complaints and wait staff was perfectly fine. the reservation process and hostess situation however.... i made my res thru open table, they call me and tell me i have to CALL THEM BACK to confirm, but they have NO answering machine. i manage to confirm finally around 4pm on saturday (pain in the a**) -- and then we arrive early. they seat us, but manage to not mark my reservation as filled. so i get the nasty email from open table about missing my time -- and i have to call the restaurant again to ... read more
Quale was really good. Pork belly soup was a tad bit over seasoned once you got passed the meat. Softshell crab was good, first few bites I couldn't tell if I liked it or not, it got better once I got used to it, the sauce was a little overwhelming though. Peach cobbler was very good, the donuts looked good as well.
We visited Vida to celebrate a birthday. Our server Etta was AMAZING! She helped us select the perfect cocktail for our tastes and then guided us through their wonderful menu. She truly turned our birthday dinner into an experience - and she made certain the birthday girl had an extra special evening. We will definitely be back!
Had been wanting to visit Vida for awhile now and it did not disappoint! Very innovative cuisine, balanced flavors . The quail was excellent! We enjoyed our main courses, filet and haddock, as well. We will definitely return.
Wonderful restaurant, among the best in the city. On the high side, but worth it, food is great. Our server was very knowledgeable. Great for a special occasion. While the menu is not extensive, all choices are excellent. Not to be missed.
