Great food and presentation but I am disappointed that they discontinued their tasting menu as it was what separated them from other notable restaurants in the area
Vida was on our bucket list for the top 25 restaurants in Indianapolis and gave it a try during Devour Downtown. We decided to do the other tasting menu instead and it was amazing. The atmosphere is modern cozy, the food is like a tasting menu and service was outstanding. I have never been to a restaurant where the staff was standing around watching to see if you needed wine poured, a plate cleared, more water and came by the table to see if everything was good. The fireplace was so nice and we had a great experience there.
Our dinner at Vida was outstanding. We visited for Devour Indy and some of our party ordered from the Devour menu, others from the a la carte. Each of us had at least 3 courses, all of which were delicious. Standouts were the buttermilk panin, filet, and ricotta donuts. Service was spectacular, and we felt well taken care of . We'll be back!
We had a great time from start to finish. Started with martinis; they were perfect, followed by wine, appetizers, entrees and dessert. Perfect portions, fabulous food, creatively done. You don't need to travel to a bigger city for a cosmopolitan experience--friends its here and one of the best in Indy. Bonus: the menu changes so each time you visit you will experience something new. Loved that one price, included 3 courses.
