Excellent in every way! We went to Vida on a friend's recommendation. And were not disappointed. We chose the 4-course menu. The food and service were outstanding. We were seated in the bar area, which was a bit noisy with a couple Indy 500 private parties upstairs. Overall, great Indianapolis restaurant and no hesitation recommending to others!
Vida is probably the best meal I've had in Indianapolis. I've lived here most of my 57 years. There were four of us and I tasted everyone's food. One dish was better than the next. The beef short ribs stood out, along with the asian style soup which was sweet and salty. The cheese plate had a creamy cheese which was outstanding. I asked the server for help ordering and everything he chose was delicious. It doesn't matter what you order because it's all so good. The donuts have bacon bits. Enough said.
Flawless food and service! Chef Layton and his team knocked it out of the park for me and my wife's anniversary. Both of the cocktails I tried were absolutely stellar as well. Dining at Vida was a great experience and we plan on returning soon!

I took a client there for a business meal and he was thoroughly impressed. I'm a big fan and am never disappointed with my experience at Vida.
We initially had tables for the Bar but were seated in the room next to the wine cellar which is a little more private, a nice surprise. Food was just delicious! Bread at the beginning was freshly made and a great start for the dinner. We had the short ribs as an entree which my husband loved and then the scallops and halibut as mains. Both were to die for! Fabulous restaurant with fabulous food!
Service was great, food was great, perfect atmosphere to enjoy a nice Friday night meal
