The tasting menu with the wine pairings was one of the best dining experiences we have had!
Vida is an outstanding addition to the new food scene in Indianapolis. Menu is interesting and everything was delicious and far above typical restaurant fare. Ambience is superb. One of our favorite restaurants downtown.
We are avid readers of The Indianapolis Monthly and dine out all over Indianapolis regularly. Vida was overall lovely! Quieter than most places which was so nice; the carpeted, beautiful, warm decor and ambiance, as well as the large windows, and comfortable seating exceeded our expectations for sure! Our meal was amazing my husband had the special wagyu beef and it melted in your mouth I choose the risotto and was really pleasant. Timing from the kitchen was perfect we never felt ruched to finish a course. Our server was Erica and was perfect with our needs minus the challenge she had getting our drinks from the bar. (not her fault) We would say the bar was a bit slow and seem to have challenge taking care of the staffs needs quickly. We will be back as soon as possible.
One of Indianapolis ' better restaurants though not one of the top 10 for food. A cool looking restaurant with good service.

Great atmosphere, food and vibe. Certainly more on the foodie, upscale end for Indy. Great special occasion place or if you are really trying to make an impression on a first date. Service was fantastic, including a few comped extras since it was our annual Christmas date. Wonderful place.
As a family we have rarely eaten in a restaurant on Christmas Eve. But my wife and I had such a lovely meal here a few months ago, we thought we'd celebrate the holiday w/the family eating here before candlelight church services. It appears they extended themselves as none of the food was as good as it was last time (even their classic dessert "donuts" were over cooked. Service was mediocre. Maybe this is why we don't typically eat out on Christmas Eve.
Outstanding service, food and ambiance! From the starters to the cocktails to the salads to the entrees to the wine to the desserts (including a double-order of the donuts), it was exceptional, even among other fabulous foodie restaurants. Thank you to Vida for helping to make our holiday outing special!
