The first time I had been there and I was pleasantly surprised by the décor and the atmosphere. The food was outstanding.
Everything about our dining experience was wonderful, from the drinks to the service. We ordered the charcuterie plate appetizer, the charred tuna, the filet, and the ricotta donuts. It was all so delicious! There are a lot of great cocktails and wines to choose from; I would recommend the Fletcher Place Handshake. The wait staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive.
CFG has done a wonderful renovation to the former Amici building. We were celebrating a CFG rewards card.
This is the next creation from Cunningham (Mesh, Union50, BruBurger) Unbelievable good and experience. It's nothing like any of their other restaurants. It's a foodies dream.
We celebrated our 20th anniversary at Vida's after hearing good things about the restaurant. The evening was delightful! We loved the modern and rustic decor, fresh and creative food, and the excellent service. We had the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings and it was so good we thought we could have been in Chicago. The total cost for 2 was around $300, so it was definitely for a special occasion. This was the second time we've eaten at VIDA. The architecture is stunning, and the service (albeit a bit pretentious) very good. The first time we ate there, the food was extremely good; this time, it was more mediocre. The presentation was very good, and the food was certainly acceptable, but it wasn't commensurate with the price. (When I'm paying those prices, I expect exceptional food, and ours was certainly not exceptional.)
The service was only outdone by the food. Everything was explained in a non-superior way. Our server was a super nice guy and made us feel comfortable with suggestions of food and drink.
Wonderful experience! Food, service, ambience all came together for a great dining experience.
