I really like this establishment. The service is great. My real complaint ... The guy that wears glasses and a sports coat (maybe manager?) I've overheard on two different occasions talking down to a staff member. If I can hear you when I'm walking to the bathroom that's a problem. We go there to enjoy dinner and drinks with friends, not to watch someone be a bully.
Wonderful overall restaurant for food, ambience, sense of something special.
Not sure Ida's a good as if is rated. Lack attention to details at every level from the food to the service. Quite immature.
Simply put, this is our favorite restaurant in Indy. We always have excellent service with knowledgeable staff who have positive attitudes. We always have excellent food (even when we order something new that may seem strange at first, we can tell all the technical pieces have been executed correctly.) The food as always was first rate. And the ambiance of course outstanding. We were disappointed in the service this time. We had to ask for the traditional bread basket. We requested our salads to be brought earlier but they were served about 20 minutes later when another course was brought in. Our waiter was pleasant enough and occasionally attentive but never around when we needed him. he ws johnny on the spot in bringing us our check.
The food was delicious! We also really enjoyed the vibe of the Vida. Very chill yet romantic.
This was our third visit to Vida. Each dinner has been delicious. The wait staff are well trained and very knowledgeable. The pacing of our food was excellent. The sommelier is outstanding and his recommendation was spot on. The design of the entire restaurant is inviting. Vida is certainly one of the best restaurants in Indy, maybe the best!!!
Parking is a problem. Noise level on bar side too loud for conversation.
Probably one of the finest dining experiences I've had in Indianapolis. The interior design is exceptional. The food is exceptional. The service was outstanding. One of my favorite places to dine in Indianapolis
