It is difficult to find a new restaurant with experienced, knowledgeable wait staff, but this place has it. The food, while expertly prepared, is unpretentious. Great attention to detail with plating. I opted for the 4 course meal and I'm so happy I did. My first course was tuna with sticky rice. The texture of the rice was perfect with a seared crust. What a pleasent surprise: Always looking for a spot to call home... think ive found it..... food delish, Quail feaux gras , smoked duck .....chicken roulad with lobster... all fantastic... finished the meal with perfect cappuccino and ricotta doughnut.... Well done chef!!!!
Food was very good as well as presentation. Only downside is the portions seemed a bit small for the price. Service was good as well.
First time at Vida. Outstanding. Great wine list and cocktails. I tried the tasting menu, extremely well presented and great combo of tastes. Service great, explanation of the dishes as they came out, answered questions on wine and the menu in an effective manner. Enough attention, without being intrusive. Noise level was OK - you could carry on a conversation.
Great ambience and excellent food, very much enjoyed the experience overall.
Once again a lovely special meal at Vida! Especially the "donut" dessert!
Food was wonderful. Coffee service was lovely as well as a great selection of wine. I would highly recommend this Indy gem to any friend. Menu had great amount of different selections but didn't seem too big or too small of a menu. Very impressed and will be back.
Vida never fails to surprise us! We came for New Year's Eve and the wait staff and the chefs did an outstanding job as usual. Everything was exceptional!
Wow! A last minute decision to brave the crowds and to take whatever spots might be open led us to Vida on New Year's Eve for a 5:15 seating. What an incredible meal! The prix fixe dinner was almost to beautiful to eat...but we ate everything anyway and were delighted with every bite!
