This was my first visit to Vienna Animal Hospital, and Dr. Wolff was very friendly and caring about my kitten. We were not rushed in and out of the office, and he patiently answered all my questions and concerns. All the staff are very professional, knowledgeable and genuinely seem to care about the animals. The exam was very thorough, I was given medicine for her on the spot, and I received a prompt call the next morning from Dr. Wolff with my kitten's test results. I was able to pick up the rest of the medicine she needed ... read more
I recently took my new, adopted dog Bodie to Vienna Animal Hospital for her first visit/check up. I expected a short visit with the usual pokes, prods and vaccine sales pitch. Instead, Dr. Chafetz took the time to have a genuine conversation about common characteristics of rescues and how to best acclimate her into our household. He went into the perfect amount of detail without boring us or talking too much and we walked away with a few new ideas, despite having past pets. The entire staff is warm and welcoming and the faci... read more
I cannot speak highly enough of Vienna Animal Hospital. The staff that work there are incredibly professional, helpful, and friendly, and I love stopping in to see everyone. My dogs, Bobo and Rocky, have had their share of visits over the last few years. Right after we adopted them (when Rocky was still a pup) he was attacked my some very big dogs. The staff at VAH (I believe Dr. Wolff primarily) took care of him and put a little puppy cast on him. He was completely healthy one week later. They also handled his neuter oper... read more
My boyfriend and I got our first dog together back in December, and after hours of researching vets in the area, and asking friends for advice, we decided on trying Vienna Animal Hospital - and I couldn't be happier we did. I wasn't there for Mara's first appointment, but my boyfriend, the usual critic, came home boasting how nice the doctors and the support staff were. Since then we've called the hospital freaking out over things as small as Mara not eating, to as big as Mara eating an entire tube of Poison Ivy cream - and ... read more
Seven years ago, my cat of 18 years was on her last legs. She had gone through many tests at two different animal hospitals and both of the other places wanted to continue to run tests - and suggested that I put her on a diet of baby food, as she stopped eating and drinking entirely. Baby food? I realized my cat's body was just shutting down and made the painful decision of putting her down. Vienna Animal Hospital was the only place open that Saturday I decided to do it. The vet (aptly named Dr. Angel) examined her one... read more
Everytime I bring my poms to Dr Wolf at the Vienna Animal Hospital I am welcomed by a friendly staff. Dr.Wolf answers all of my questions and I never have to wait to see him for more than a couple minutes.
I took my dog in today because she has pink eye. The receptionist was very friendly. I saw Dr. Wolff and he was extremely friendly and explained what was going on and answered all of my questions that I had. If you live in the area and have a pet I highly recommend coming here for all your pet care needs.
Called this dentist to schedule an immediate dental for my dog. Very questionable behavior on the phone. They didn't listen to what I was saying. I would tell them exactly what happened and what I needed - per my family vet. They would then ask me to repeat myself because they were not listening to me because they were having conversations with other staff while talking to me. Instead of answering my questions they would give me unrelated information or avoid the questions altogether. I was put on hold at one point. When t... read more
I kept asking myself: "If I had brought my dog to another hospital and got the infection treated in the first place, would my dog be still alive today?" One morning I saw my dog lying on the floor trembling and suspected my dog had a fever and probably had an infection. I immediately called this hospital for an appointment. The staff sounded polite but did not feel the urgency and was not helpful. During the visit, the vet, Dr. Chafetz, was not concerned about my dog's fever. He gave my dog a shot for arthritis to address my... read more
