We called to see if we needed our dogs to be seen to get Nexgard prescriptions. Receptionist stated we did and need to be seen even though we have had thorough check ups recently, right before we moved here. She mentioned sometimes the Vet will waive the evaluation fee, so I asked to talk to the Vet about our situation and I told her I could bring all the medical records in for their vet to see, so we could get a prescription for oral flea and tick treatment. I'm looking for a new vet to take my senior kitties to. Seeing all the good reviews on here I decided to look into Vienna Animal Hospital. But also seeing the reviews on here regarding the inconsistent billing I decided to call first to find out what the cost is for a cat's annual exam and what it covers as a benchmark for the general costs of service as well as customer service. Vienna Animal Hospital has always provided the best service for my pets and the pets of my friends. In fact they're one of the best vet groups in the area. Every single visit has been handled by wonderful, friendly staff that greet you with a smile. You never feel rushed and you feel confident your pet will get great care. Have had three Cockerspaniels, and Dr. Chavetz has taken care of all of them. Amazing place that is "old fashioned"- the vet will actually talk to you on the phone!! They are just great here. I live in Alexandria- a block from a vet- yet I will drive all the way back to Vienna for them. Can't say enough about this team. Always friendly, helpful, and never trying to sell me anything I don't need.
