Even though I don't rent from them anymore, I'd have to say they were the best rental company I've had in the Columbia area. If anything broke, they fixed it right away, unlike other companies. The home I rented from them was in a wonderful neighborhood with the best neighbors. When my 24 year old ( brain tumor)passed away, all the neighbors were so great and kind. Don’t get scammed for your money! $1500 security deposit and they took most of it for “repairs” and there was nothing wrong with the rental home when i left. I TOOK PICTURES. there was only ONE spot in that whole house, that need a repair. and it was as small as a lighter. the invoice they gave me, had all kinds of stuff on there. and most of it, was bull. but its okay. just letting others know what kind of people they are. wouldn’t even give 1 star, if i could.
While we generally keep to ourselves regarding matters with the rental company, recognizing the challenges they face due to their size and scope, I must express concern over the lack of communication and urgency within their maintenance department. It is imperative that a management company, regardless of the time or day, ensures their maintenance staff are available 24/7. As soon as I get the opportunity to leave I am. When they brought out my property from the previous rental company (Conrex -truly amazing by the way) communication with them was horrible. Unable to reach an actual person to obtain the necessary details. Fees and rent increased. Needless to say, I felt as though my security is not a care of theirs. They switched out my locks to be less secured. When I inquired about it they did not show any concern about how I felt about my family’s safety. Their customer service is horrible.... read more
I placed a work order tonight because the shower valve broke and the water won’t turn off. The website says that it is a non emergency. I then called to speak with a live person. She told me that all she could do was make the report. Here it is 2 hours later and water is running and flooding the bathroom. So what is exactly an emergency?This water bill is gonna be extremely high.
