They are always short staff when I went to visit a friend of mine I got to see what it was about and the experience was horrible they were always short and food was brought out cold and hard to eat. When I asked to speak with the boss of the kitchen she was never able to come out and speak about the concerns. I witnessed staff get treated bad. They also got rid of some servers and it’s even more slow because they fired the best workers it’s just very unprofessional. My friend has been there for years and I hate to say they m... read more

We placed our mom here for a few months but had to remove her because it was horrible. The food is awful, the place is dirty. We tried to talk with the executive director several times but she was just rude to us. It's too bad, some of the staff are nice

They serve incredibly awful food. If you asked other residents that don't have dementia they would tell you. Also, they didn't keep my parents clean. They didn't involve them in activities very often. There were medication discrepancies and my mother's hearing aides were never charged even though they take them to the office each night to charge them. Also my mom and dad had bruises in unusual places. We also had to bring in water bottles for them because they said we had to. Very lacking in care. Also, when we moved them ou... read more

We did not have a good situation, my loved one got in here and they went into covid lockdown. They were understaffed and it affected their quality of food tremendously. I would tell others to understand and manage your expectations as to the medical supervision that is provided. If your loved one is going to need a lot of attention and hands on care, this would not be a good fit for them. When I look back, it was a bad experience but it was not fully their fault.

Business response:

Hi Sherry, we’re sorry to hear about the situation with your loved one. As you can imagine COVID has been an incredibly challenging time across our entire industry, and we had to adjust our care routines regularly. With that said, our priority is always on the safety and comfort of our residents and we’re proud of how our team has handled this difficult time. We’d like to speak to you more about your experience with us, please feel free to contact us any time.

This is my loved ones second time there. Everything has changed due to him needing more care. They are running short on staff due to the pandemic. They are also bringing in meals to him now due to his condition and sometimes they think that his breakfast left overs is lunch and it is not. Due to him being a vet it is hard to deal with the VA and get medications while being in the facility. I would recommend to keep your parents at home if you can and to not send them to a facility.

This place has assisted living as well as memory care. When you first walk in, where the assisted living area is, it’s nice. But when you walk into the back where the memory care is, it’s just depressing. The cleanliness was okay, it looked like it was kept up with, but the residents in the memory care looked like they were drugged and only slightly functional

The employees work short-handed constantly, putting the residents at a big safety risk. Also some PCAs are rude and tendencies to bully and intimidate elderly residents. The same PCAs call in sick too often with no precautions.
