This community has outstanding staff and they really take care of my loved one. My loved one was in another state and moved here and I am getting more care for the same price which I would not have been able to get.

This facility only gets "4" ratings because I wish they were more consistent with their covid updates since they have a few outbreaks. But they have put appropriate measures in force. The other items regarding staffing is that they have had almost total turnover in the executive staff and chef.
I can't say enough wonderful things about Prestige on Wigwam Parkway in Henderson, Nevada. At first, I was a little nervous about my Mom moving in during a pandemic, but Prestige tests their staff weekly for the virus..which is really great. When they discovered that anyone had the virus, they immediately went into lock down until it could be irradiated and had something like a 95% recovery rate using quarantine methods and continual testing. This was my first experience with an assisted care facility. This was a very positive experience and we would recommend it. The administrative staff are proactive and consistent. They helped me be comfortable with the transition. We intend to use this community again.
It wasn't up to my standards. The bed was terribly lumpy and uncomfortable. The staff were mostly attentive. If you pushed your button, they usually showed up, although they might say "Okay" and leave and not come back to take care of your issue. When I left, I was really glad to leave. For short-term it was okay, but I would not want to live there. The food was terrible, and meals were way too early, dinner at 4:30 and breakfast at 7:30. We really like the longevity of the staff and residents at Prestige Assisted Living. The residents we saw on our initial tour are the same residents we saw when our loved one moved in. We love seeing the interaction between the staff and residents. We would recommend this community to others in a heart beat.
What stuck out to us about Prestige Assisted Living was the shower in the bathroom, it was a large walk in shower that was important to us because she is in a wheelchair. It was able to accommodate her needs better than others we looked at. The room sizes here are just fine. I have eaten here and the food was very good, they are fresh, chef prepared meals. Overall, I would recommend.
The community is a great place for your loved one. The room sizes were great. It was a fair price and we liked everything about this community much. I would definitely recommend this community to others.
