For me it's a right of summer to dine on the patio of WA Frost. With Covid-19 it certainly didn't have the same feel but I'm still happy we went. The food was good and it was nice to actually dine out. I recommend going to 2 Scoops just a couple of blocks west on Selby for dessert. Great ice cream and black owned & operated!

Frost has the best looking overall outside eating areas. Even on a hot night it was so comfortable. It's too bad you have to order electronically with no chance of asking for anything different or extra. The food was fresh but very bland. Salads with hardly any dressing. We asked for salt and pepper and lemons but should have also asked for parmesan cheese too as the salad had no flavor. We had three different dinners and all were boring with little flavor. Considering the cost, it was not worth it, still looking for a good ... read more

Excellent “social distancing” and all staff wore masks.

We Loved the outdoor patio setting. It is so peacefull with fewer tables and all the flowers. However the food was a disappointment. $25 for a very skimpy cheeseplate and no bread was way overpriced and really only serves one person. My gin and tonic was tasty but again $15 was overpriced. Our waiter was efficient and polite.

This was my 1st time in Covid patio dining at WA Frost. The requisite remote ordering through my iPhone was clunky and ultimately not operational. Others at my table were also unable to order via their iPhones. Thank goodness for the host who came as soon as we raised our hands and personally facilitated our order. She was helpful and very gracious. The food was OK. Lots of $$ for OK and not a lot of food. But your patio ambience is super beautiful and almost makes up for the “meh” food. We will come back because of that but... read more

One of the best outdoor dinning experiences in the Twin Cities during Covid.

I ordered a medium rare steak and got well done. It was one of like 5 menu options so I figured they'd know how to execute. I was wrong. Came on a bed of tough green beans and flavorless roasted potatoes. For $35 I would have expected an entrée with flavor, or at least properly executed. The cocktails were delicious. I had the Vieux Carre and the Rye Old Fashioned. The staff were friendly and prompt. Just a shame about the food.
