Patio was beautiful. Waiter kind. Hostess was not welcoming and I could go as far as saying was rude. Burger could not be ordered with app done medium well (my preferred) so ordered well. Not worth the $25 minimum for a meal.
Lovely evening. Food was very good except the dressing on the tossed vegetable salad needed some zip. One of our favorite places.
I appreciated the effort to remake the experience with major new constraints. Chicken polenta was excellent; chicken salad not exciting. Service limited...casualty of covid? Comfortable and happy to be back.
The new system for ordering worked fairly well. Although it was hard to know if they for sure got the order and no way that we could see to delete. But staff was available and helpful. they do have an ipad to use if you forget to bring your phone.
The fact that they required using an I-phone to order was very upsetting. We didn't have I-phones and had to get the hostess to show us the menu. a server had to take our order. Not everyone has technology. Otherwise it was wonderful.
We ate on their lovely patio and had an excellent meal. But I found the ticketing/charging system very frustrating. We placed 3 different orders, drinks & appetizer, entrees, and dessert & coffee. Each time I had to enter all my info-name, email, phone, charge card, etc. I was the only one paying for our table. I had the salmon with couscous and quinoa. The salmon was a bit overcooked and the couscous was strange. It was like eating porridge and rather tasteless. The food was mediocre, but my side car was perfect and the patio is beautiful. The service was good. I will return because I love the ambiance, but I will not order the salmon.
This was the first time I have eaten out since Covid 19. Definitely was a different experience but I appreciated the safety procedures and the ordering system. It was a good experience
We had a wonderful meal. The food and service were great. Parking was a breeze because they have their own lot. The only downside was ordering was done using iPhones. Because we had a drink before dinner we had to order using iPhone and pay for drinks with credit card. We then had to follow same process when ordering our meals. Thought it somewhat cumbersome. Nevertheless we enjoyed our evening and our dinner.
