Todd made the overwhelming process of refinancing from the application to the signing of the paperwork easy. He was there every step of the way with answers to all our questions and with any support we needed. Very professional. Sarah Angell

Todd has helped me many times over the last 10 years with my mortgages. He has become my go to guy to answer questions and provide great solutions. He is always friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with.Recently I have worked with him in the complicated world of HARP refinances. He has done a great job helping me navigating this “New World” of mortgage requirements. With Todd’s assistance I am now receiving great savings on my mortgages.I would highly recommend Todd Fogelsonger .
I had been struggling with a difficult mortgage for several years when I was put in touch with Todd Fogelsonger. My payment and rate were high, and I felt a lot of anxiety over it. Todd was calm, responsive, creative, and ultimately got me down to a payment that I can handle, and at an excellent rate! For the first time in years I am able to put a little money in savings, and as a parent of two teenagers heading to college, that's a big relief. I can't recommend Todd Fogelsonger highly enough! H. Todd got done what we failed at many times with other lenders. We recently refinaced our home, and the process was anything but smooth. Luckily, Todd knew haw to navigate all the potholes the banking world tried to put into our way. I would, and have already, highly recommend his services to anyone in need of assistance in this area. Thanks again, Todd!
Received the WORST possible customer service from your agent ERIK AMES. He was very rude, arrogant and selfish. I applied for the refinance 3-4 weeks back. For the first 2 weeks there was NO RESPONSE from him. Then I sent him a reminder and only then he started working on my application. Even then, he MADE MISTAKES in the application (wrong loan amount, rates, etc.) for which I asked him to make corrections. He then SUDDENLY BAILED on my application (4 weeks already into the process) giving excuses that I am not valuing his ... read more
Business response:
I'm sorry I would not sign off on documentation indicating you lived in an investment property. While I want to serve my clients I don't want to do so fraudulently and risk losing my license.
-Multiple errors made by WA First through the process -No explanation why the loads disclosure amounts kept changing (poor communication) -Received conflicting information that lead to errors in the closing costs
Because of Svetlana's unprofessionality we were not able to close! First, she ordered wrong appraisal; second, she completed our application with the wrong data and underwriter had too many questions; third, she tried didn't disclose her commision promptly on the loan disclosures sheet - she put seller's closing costs under buyer's closing costs. Finally, she went to seller's agent's office and disclosed our financial information. She acted super unethical and we had to switch the lender. Outcome: we got the extension of con... read more
I worked with Todd 3 times on refinances for my brother. Qualifying for a mortgage involves many things. Lenders are more willing to turn you down rather than grant the mortgage. The difficult areas are in the nature of income and cash verifications. My brother is retired on disability so the lenders wanted lots of detail to verify his income. They use income tax returns to verify income. Most lenders are not very well versed in understanding various line items on income tax returns. Todd worked with me to satisfay the lender... read more
