This review is for IRT Living in Marietta, GA, specifically Delk Road SE apartments. Upper management needs to be ashamed of how their units are being managed and the fact that they do not answer phones in either the Chicago or Philadelphia office. This apartment complex is an absolute unmitigated disaster. I have lived there now for 12 months+ and the apartment staff is atrocious, half the time they will be inebriated and or high off smoking weed on the job. And the other half of the time they sit on their ass and do absolutely nothing to make this community clean or appealing. I've been waiting for them to fix the washing machine for 8 months. It's officially dancing inside the house. My kids are scared. First they said they ordered a part, then the machine but they're always skipping it.It has the most infamous administration. Its stairs are scum. It hasn't been swept for months.
I hope you can grab your ankles because if you move here that's what you will have to do! Where to begin...We moved in 2019. The relationship started with them giving us the total rent price and then afterwards tacked on garbage removal fees that they stated it was included in the price. This apartment complex has tanked in quality over the last 3 years as a hole and has skyrocketed in rent, I am paying now on my 3rd lease and my rent has went up almost $800, and my reward for that is maintenance requests that go unanswered, a poor maintained property, and a very unhelpful staff. Beautiful interior... that's it. Priced to compete with the housing market, which it is not. 1. Appliances repairs take months. They will replace your broken piece of equipment with a used one from an empty unit and that breaks down as well. If I could give a zero I would. This is supposed to be a "luxury" apartment and its pretty much the very opposite. Within living here for only 7 months it was very clear i would NOT be renewing the lease. Everybody in that office never has any idea what in the world is going on. Do NOT live here unless your bedroom walls do not meet up with any other apartment's. While the inside is updated nicely and has a good lay out, it has the thinnest walls I have ever seen. My neighbors next to me keep me up be size they bump into the wall a lot and listen to their TV loud - which they should be allowed to do.
