On 8/8/2023 I visited the Wellnow clinic located at 7375 Oswego Rd Liverpool NY 13090 for a bee sting reaction. I provided my Medicare (Primary) and BC/BS insurance information. Months later I received a bill for $230.00. I attempted to contact Wellnow via phone to advise them that the claim was received by Medicare (I have written proof). 99% of all reviews I have ever written online anywhere are positive (5 Stars). I am not a complainer. Yelp reviews of WellNow Cicero / L'pool locations are rated as 1.4 and 2.7 respectively. I would agree. Needed a PPD (my first). The Cicero desk person called out to me - "Well, you have to check in at the kiosk first" Some patients were complaining (it was busy) as I started to check-in. The absolute worst!! The slowest more ridiculous waste of time for nothing. Paying out of pocket and waiting hours with NOONE there is a joke! Go anywhere else!
I would never and will never recommend this Urgent Care. First of all the front desk employee was absolutely downright rude. I don't know who pissed in her cheerios this morning but holy moly. I brought my daughter in with a 101 fever, horrible cough, and a major runny nose- also worried about an upper respiratory infection. Wasn't concerned of 102 fever/vomiting. Diagnosed with sinusitis by NP Goncalves. Said flu season is over didn't care to test, when you can have flu into late May!! This started with a cough/sweats. Not stuffy nose or sinus issues at all. He seemed very short & just wanted us out.

Front desk employee very unfriendly. Went in with severe abdominal pain that had lasted well over 24 hrs, including a sleepless night due to the pain. I'm not 100% sure the "provider" was an actual doctor. He went through all the possibilities of what it "could" be, but they didn't have the ability to test for that (didn't have the ability or chose not to take the time?) Dr Shaw Last night I had gone to Wellnow on Route 57 in Liverpool. My experience with Dr Shaw was horrible. She was extremely unprofessional. She walked in and looked to the side wall as she spoke with me. Not once did she look or examine me. I had a low grade fever of 99 and she told me not to waste their time and to go to the ER. I explained to her I was seen a few days prior for an infection and they had to culture to see what bacteria it was and if my antibiotics weren't working come in and they'd switch them. I went in with a fever and a few other symptoms and possibly been exposed to COVID. I got tested waitEd 2 days to be told they lost the test got retested waited 24 hrs and they said they lost the test again and asked me if I wanted to drive back and be tested a 3rd time? That is sub par and unprofessional as it gets.

Went to this location for test results. They do not call back or help with the online section. Then when you call you have to sit on hold for 10+ minutes for a receptionist and then they just hang up on you. Would not recommend.
