This is long, but read it if you are considering this facility for your loved one. If it were possible to select zero stars, I would. We needed a SNF for my mom to receive intensive therapy after a hip replacement. Not given any guidance from the hospital as they cannot recommend facilities, we ended up at Western Slope. This place wouldn't be recommended for someone you hate, much less, love. It is a pit. Please research the "health centers" and "rehabilitation facilities" in our town thoroughly before putting a loved one in their "care." Western Slope has good aides, fair nurses, nice support staff, but the heads of departments, for the most part, and all of the administration are decidedly sub-par. I doubt the admin people could get jobs anywhere else, so they made a place where their inadequacies would not stand out. Trying to get go... read more
