Server could have been nicer
Packed us in like sardines. Terrible service and rushed us out to turn the table. Not what I’m used to at Westville for sure.
Super cold outside and food took 45 minutes
They messed up our drinks and meals. It was awful.
We waiting for about 15-20 mins before anyone approached our table for a drink order or food order. We had to ask the hostess if anyone was coming. The table next to me was waiting to pay and walked up to the hostess table as well. This is the second time we receive poor service while being sat outside at Westville Chelsea.
I have never left a restaurant review, let alone a bad one. Westville was not a good dining experience. We went for brunch and the three of us were swatted at a tiny two-top, even though every other table was empty. When I asked if we could push two tables together, the waiter said he would have to ask. Then he apparently never did, and we ate with all the food crammed together. I had the avocado toast, and the avocado has turned brown. We sat outside. A rat ran across our table mid-meal.
The food was delicious, loved the outside eating area, but our reservation was for 3:30pm and it did not say anywhere on the Westville website or on OpenTable that the restaurant closes down completely at 4pm. We knew brunch ended at 4pm, but our food arrived at 3:50ish and we were told we couldn't even order drinks after 4 at 3:58pm! I thought the food was without taste. The restaurant was hot and sticky. A/C was working but not keeping the place cool. After sitting next to the bathroom doors, it was downhill from there. I will not return.
