Should serve web wipes to clean sticky hands after finishing meal. I would prefer dry rub over bbq sauce. Would be nice to have option. Waitress was great.
Disappointed at our meal tonight, brisket was dry and fatty and not cut cross grain like brisket usually is. One of us had ribs, said they were overcooked and tough. Caesar salad was wilted. Cornbread was delish! This has not been our experience in the past, so we were surprised. Did we tell server? No, when all four meals have overcooked dry meat, not likely she could have helped!
Hostess and wait staff were top notch. Food was delicious! Will definitely recommend.
My granddaughter and I went there 2 nights in a row for dinner. We were greeted immediately upon checking in. The waitresses were all very friendly! Answered all questions we had. Got the opportunity to to meet Vanessa, the manager. We told her we were from out of town(so. Cal). She gave us some advice on what they had to offer there. Who wouldn’t want a manager like her. Great food. We enjoyed out rack of ribs and smooehouse burger. Portions are big as well. Couldnt fit dessert and had to walk the whole downtown to settle the stomach

Staff was delightful and the food and drinks were absolutely amazing.
I took the wife up to Solvang for her birthday and we stopped in Whiskey and Rye for happy hour. It’s a comfortable casual restaurant with a nice ambiance. Servers were great, appetizers and beer were very good, we had wings, pickle chips and the Mac and cheese and all were good. A little extra I enjoyed was sitting by the fireplace and listening to the music selection they played (Fleetwood Mac, Humble pie, Yes, Stones). Big up👍🏼
Food was great, the service was even better given by Brandy. The drinks were made perfect by Bryle, hope I spelled their names correctly. There selection of bourbon is also great
