Staff was very friendly and accommodated our pup on the patio. Food was good, and would recommend the pulled pork sandwich. It was a gorgeous day in Solvang so sitting outside on the patio was awesome. Was busy, but we enjoyed our lunch there.

On top of being in Solvang, which is a great place for a mini vacation. We stopped into Whiskey and Rye and I have to say I was more than satisfied with with they have going on here. From the ambiance, to the food, and most importantly the excellent service we received from Teena V. She took the time to explain the menu and point out some of their popular dishes. If you're in the Santa Ynez Valley and you're looking for outstanding food & BBQ, great drinks and an outstanding staff you absolutely must go to Whiskey 'N Rye. Everything was delicious!!! Special thanks to our server Michelle C. who was on point, incredibly friendly and provided us with amazing service. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Solvang!

Excellent service-we were seated inside with the caveat that we'd be finished by the time the reservation for that table arrived. Knowing ahead of time was great even though we never had to hurry. Hubby and I had brisket that was fork tender and beautifully seasoned. The salad with poppy seed dressing was excellent-greens very fresh. Hubby is very particular about his food as a retired chef but he was a huge fan of this place. It got crowded fast, but we usually dine early so it didn't matter to us.
