Great place! Very busy, friendly staff, good accomodations. Make sure to make a reservation, they were turning people away at the door.

My husband and I took a short trip to Solvang this past week. We had only one night in Solvang and wanted to eat someplace exceptional but casual. Whiskey ‘N Rye was the perfect choice! Ashley our server was amazing! She was so friendly and attentive. The food was amazing! We had the Whiskey & Rye burger and the brisket chili. The burger was cooked perfectly medium rare. Service was excellent, food was hot and tasty, place was loud and bouncing. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our meals very much so. The young server we had was lovely, energetic and attentive. My baby back ribs were top notch, side of Caesar salad was massive and I liked the smashed garlic potatoes. My only negative comment would be, it would have been better if they could have shut the front door as it was 7.30 December 11th and pretty cold. Will definitely be back.
The bbq was really tasty. Corn bread skillet is a must and basically dessert with dinner. The baked beans were the only disappointment. Otherwise terrific and cozy spot conveniently located in Solvang.
