better lighting was way too dark, more sit down areas to rest
It’s a fun educational place with lots of different types of animals and artifacts from a long time ago the museum and aquarium are two of my favorite places to attend. It’s about 3 hours or more to walk through both.
Very dark in areas where light is needed, but the biggest disappointment was the lack of educational information about the species exhibited! We will not go back.
Purchased a piece of glass statue and was told by the person in the gift shop it was blown by a local artist. LIES LIES LIES, if you’re going to lie about that, remove the freakin made in China sticker off the statue. So pissed off right now.

it has nothing to do with animals. the only animals that are in that place is trophy kills. It's like walking through a morbid graveyard, it's all a lie. they talk about conserving life but for what purpose. so they can sell their wares and kill more innocent creatures. it's a place for simple minded shoppers to go and spend money.
Expensive even with the "local" discount. I was told they charge for the motorized scooters so I used a wheelchair. Too many thresholds that are hard to get over and I almost tipped over several times! A lot of up and down between the 2 floors. It would have been better if you could finish one floor completely before changing floors!
Overpriced! Not impressed for the price!
I love Bass Pro and repeatedly enjoy their stores’ decor, but this attraction is a once and done. Less aquarium than you expect, and the museum stuff needs to be seen only once. The best part was the dioramas similar to those of the NY Natural History Museum, but I wouldn’t pay $45 a person to view them again. I loved the original version of this attraction before they closed it ten years ago to turn it into this.
Total incompetence at the ticket counter ruined our experience. We needed one additional ticket and the lady working the ticket counter was totally overwhelmed with the one family she was helping and refused help from co-workers even though there was a long line waiting. Long story short, my family went through without me. First time to visit the museum and I will NEVER be back!
