I'm sure the place is neat....but over $150 (with tax) per visit for my family of 4? Kick rocks, Bass Pro. You made us wait for over a decade for this and now this crap? I can take my kids to a state Park and look at real wildlife for free. I can drive them all to St. Louis and go to the freaking zoo for half of what you're trying to charge me. I'm not saying your facility should be free, but come on BP. As a Springfield resident who lives nearby I've been effected on a daily basis by the traffic this cruel joke has created ... read more

BEWARE when ordering tickets online! My mother accidentally bought tickets for today, instead of a later date. There is no way to cancel online after you purchase a ticket. There should be an option to cancel, it's not that hard. I expect a better system from such a large company. She is literally having to walk in to WOW now to try and get it fixed. Customer Service, is sadly, a joke. I called and asked to speak with a manager. No manager to speak with at ticket sales. They can help you purchase a ticket, but can't... read more

So. The Aquarium at Wonders of Wildlife is over-the-top fantastic. In the almost four hours it took to go through it I was amazed at the sheer number of fish and other aquatic creatures. Couple things bothered me and they still do this morning. Included in the aquatic display are a few birds. There is a bald eagle, three sorry-looking owls, and one beautiful egret. They are being kept in conditions fit for fish. It’s dark in that place! No sunlight at all. Tiny cages. The egret was in the beaver display, by itself, ... read more

I am local and took my father from OK this past weekend. We did only the Aquarium portion. Everything was amazing. Except for the lack of benches to rest. Both he and I are disabled and there were not enough benches for us to rest. We ended up having to leave because of the lack of seating, especially in the first half of the aquarium. By the time we found a place to sit we were already hurting too much to finish the tour. We had to find an exit sign and leave. I’m sure the rest was just as amazing as what we got to see and ... read more

Amazing place worth the money if they get better signs on where to go and workers know directions on how to get out. Glad we didn't have a emergency after being lost for about a hour. There was no expense spared on the museum or the aquariums. Lol just training for the worker's. Still great place.

Went just to the WOW side on a weekday with an out-of state-guest and another relative in a wheelchair. It was clear in most areas that they were not finished. Directional signs and animal/fish/exhibit identification signs were lacking. Mounted iPads in most exhibits helped some with wild life identification, but we found than many weren't working. Many exhibits were so dark that you really couldn't see well. I understand the goal of a great habitat, but if you can't see the wild life, I don't see the point of having animals... read more

The Wonders Of Wildlife is truly a wonder. Every exhibit and animal show cased is fantastic! I would've given the museum 5 stars but I am very concerned with the animal care of one particular animal on display. I understand it's not conventionally regarded as an animal that many people are concerned about however as an owner of this type of pet, I am highly concerned for it's well being. I was disappointed to see the "barn rat" housed alone with out a cage mate. Rats are extremely social animals and it is detrimental to the... read more

Very poorly laid out aquarium. Lots of retracing your steps. Few signs on the fish tanks telling you what kind of fish you are looking at. Poorly trained staff. Not even able to tell you where the nearest restroom is. One staff member told us there was no elevator to get up to the museum, when asked if it was handicap accessible she stated “no, not that she knew of.” (Another staff member did show us where the elevator was) The restrooms I went in didn’t have a changing table. The museum was very nice. Just not quite finishe... read more
