The black bear exhibit is terrible! He/she is already showing signs of stress. Eagle, owl and beaver exhibit are sad and small. Aquarium is great.
I am not trying to negate the good that Johnny Morris is trying to instill. As an animal lover I do have to say that my heart was absolutely broken at seeing these live animals in their enclosures. They were miserable and it was obvious. The owl enclosures were horrendous, the beaver scratched at the exit door the whole time we were there, and the black bear was pacing back and forth clearly in distress, and there were many more that looked very scared and uncomfortable. How would you like to live in a cage/box with no windo... read more
This place was pretty awesome and all the different types of animals were amazing to see. But I do have to say some of the enclosures for the animals seemed way too small. I felt I was looking at a miserable animal. That definitely kills the mood.
This was the worst aquarium I've ever been to! Complete waste of money, I asked how long it would take to get through, and got told 3/5 hours, I was in there for 30 minuets! Besides that, nothing in there amazed me, barely anything was real, stuffed animals, and statues of fish/sharks/whales. Barely any sea life, mostly fresh water fish that I can go see in my backyard, or let alone walk through bass pro for free and see the same shit that they had in there. Asked for my money back and they told me since I finished the exhib... read more
The fish are neat and I'm sure the exhibits were too however, there were so many people that my kids and I missed a lot! There is only one way to go and not much room on the small path you and 20 something other people are expected to follow. So if you happen to miss something you can't go back and check it out because there is so many people trying to push their way through too. For the $118 that we payed it would have been nice to had been able to wonder around and show our children the exhibits and been able to make it ed... read more
Although the museum and aquarium were great, the ticket price did not include tax, which seems a little deceiving. And food court choices were very limited and quite pricey. Nearly $200 for 3 people is more than i would be willing to spend again
A museum dedicated to wildlife however is filled with dead animals and trophy hunting kills . Go to a safari and look at living animals not ones who lost their lives to fill this building .
Would it be true you are denying Foster Children> While in care I would think they are the families "Children" Not sure I will ever visit there. how horrible.
BASS PRO has declined entry to Wonders of Wildlife for FOSTER CHILDREN! I am stunned and shocked that a multi million dollar entity would decline foster children access to their museum! I wanted to purchase a yearly pass so I could take children in our care. (As I do the zoo pass) However NO FOSTER CHILDREN! HOLY WOW I could not believe what I was reading!
