Love this place !! We’ve gone a lot and have season passes . One thing that annoys me , is they make you stand in line to take a picture even if you don’t want one! Which is really obnoxious! Other than that I’d give it 5 stars
Kind of expensive. We bought the s Aaron pass so we can recoup the expenses a little. Food is way over priced. Museum is awesome aquarium is awesome. But for big families it could be hard to finance it.
Shame on you wonders of wildlife after Springfield voted you the best attraction you now charge people $10 for parking??!Give me a break talk about greed
Awesome place. BUT....Bought season passes only to find out we can’t use them on my son’s field trip. I know several people are very disappointed in this “rule”. So we’ve already paid for the passes but now they want $37 more so that we can go as part of the group. Doesn’t make sense.
I have been to a lot of museums and this is the most convoluted one I’ve ever seen. It’s massive (5 hours for both museums) but it is so poorly organized. Pathways and entrances are not marked (very dark in much of it) and since we had an electric scooter some of the tiny elevators could barely accommodate it. It has some wonderful exhibits, however.
You have to walk threw too much of the museum just to get to the live animals. It is a set path to go on, you can't just wonder arround.
Awesome time, memorable moments of the outdoors and something that everyone likes.
We went through the aquarium which was beautiful, things I have not seen so I loved that, the one deal I did not like was to see OWLS and a Raven in cages, to me if this is all about nature and God's creation birds do not belong in cages, also ( one) black bear sitting by himself almost made me cry very sad. The animals belong in nature not for us to stare at them behind glass. I love seeing all of this as long as it is good for the animals otherwise NO.!!!
We thought it was beautiful-it is quite the walk though -we loved the aquarium and jellyfish tanks. The one sad thing for me was the bald eagle exhibit he was hunched in a corner and looked terrified- I want to ask why is a bald eagle even there or if he was injured? He looked miserable and I have seen bald eagles in the wild and they are beautiful birds- this one just looked sad-I do hope they change this-for our national bird they do need to do better Good place to visit
