I had a very good tour of the Wyndham Lakes. The place was clean and everyone was very friendly. The tour guide was able to answer all of our questions and give us good information.
The people here were great and they were very friendly. I liked the community and it was very clean and no smells to it. I just did not get the feeling that this was the right place for me here. It was just to far.
I spoke with them over the phone. They were very friendly and followed up to see if I made a decision. During our conversation they educated me about benefits for my dad. The were getting me the information I needed and directed me to resources. It came down to location and price and this was not the right fit.
We really liked this community, but dad said no because his apartment would be way to far to walk to the dining hall and the common areas. He just would not get the human interaction that we were looking for.
Nice people. Residents looked happy and it felt like a community. Campus and buildings extremely dated and run down looking. Apartment was nice though. Facility due to be updated.
My husband spent his first night in the Memory Care unit and did very well. Such a relief! The nurse, Kelly, who is SO very nice, helped him get to bed and he slept through the night! My anxiety is now at a very low level. Left him this evening and he was eating dinner with some of the other men in the unit. Am thinking he will gain weight. They provide snacks and dessert, which he did not receive at home! When I left, he did not chase after me. Thank God!
I researched and looked for a place for my Loved One that would accommodate his needs and make him feel at home. I fell in love with Wyndham Lakes the first day I visited the facility. It has surpassed all of my expectations as well as my brother's. We love the staff as well as the tenants that live there. Everyone at Wyndham Lakes are very professional and kind. I was not happy that the assistance I am getting is coming from a different company. This really runs my cost up. I was told that the handicap bars in the shower don't have to be in a stud. True or false? When I moved in, the apartment had many cleanliness problems. Even tho they had a month to get it ready, the bathroom was one of the dirtiest rooms.
