Oh goodness ... Hugo's is probably my very favorite Restaurant in the valley, consistent, pleasant, and values focused. I always love the food here - and they always have thoughtful swaps - according to Customer preferences (vegan, vegetarian, allergies ... etc.). Parking lot, and lots of street parking to boot. What's not to love - except the lines of people waiting to get in (occasionally). Tried and true ... and a long standing favorite for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

I'm from Ventura but this place was suggested to me by a friend I was visiting in LA. In my area, vegan options are scarce (and even if they do exist, they are boring burgers or salads). I was surprised to see so many vegan/vegetarian options here at Hugos! I'm rarely put in a position where I can't decide! I ordered a vegan Rueben and I was shocked! This was our first time back in a while, and the food and service were still great. They're now one of those places that automatically adds a BS "service charge" to the bill. It's only 3% but it's such an annoying practice. It is still a great choice for healthy options in the area.

Solid, elevated diner food is the best way I can describe the cuisine here. Great place for large breakfast plates done well. Also excellent if seeking uncomplicated, tried-and-true lunch and dinner fare, Their dinner entrees are well prepared (I love the salon), and as reliable as their sandwiches, giant salads, and burgers, The higher-quality ingredients and preparations mean the prices here are a bit elevated as well, though I feel they give very good value for cost. Like the place for breakfast and lunch. Numerous healthful options. I take vegans here and they are always happy. There is a convenient parking lot which is a plus too.

The place is beautiful, service is good, we had chilaquiles and they were honestly not good, it didn't have any taste, they serve it with sausage, something I had never seen before and I wanted to give it a try. I didn't like it at all.

Had amazing food and service. Marco took extra care of us. He also noted my food allergies and made sure my dish was correct. Food came hot, drinks were amazing. And Marco showed my guest from out of town extra care and kindness
