This was more of a night club vibe than dinner restaurant. Its good for happy hour or small bites. I would recommend finding someplace else for dinner.
Everything is delicious! We got multiple sushi tolls, sashimi, calamari and cocktails and we enjoyed it all. The ambiance is also incredible- endless amount of photo ops for those interested. Will be back next time we’re in town!
Great dinner, awesome sushi selection. We loved everything from the service to the drink, and the Sushi Platter our server reccomended was just what we needed. 10/10
I visited this restaurant for the second time, and once again, it was absolutely worth it. The restaurant truly maintains a high standard when it comes to both food and service. I especially enjoyed the service from our waiter, Russo. He was very efficient, fast, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and, as always, fresh. Thank you so much to the entire Zama restaurant team!

I came in yesterday right when they opened. Ordered Ceviche to start which was amazing!! Perfectly balanced. Then when I asked my server for recommendations, I fully trusted his word since he suggested the Crvixhe in the first place. My main plate was the Miso Black Cod….it was soooo well prepared and very original. Jesus was super friendly and knew exactly what I should eat there. Zama continues to be one of my absolute favorite restaurants in San Diego. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The food is consistently outstanding, the service is attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere is truly one of a kind. It’s rare to find a place that delivers such a great experience every single time. Whether you’re looking for an incredible dinner or a memorable night out, Zama never disappoints. Definitely one of San Diego’s must-visit restaurants!
This is my second time here, and I love it. We really enjoyed celebrating a birthday here; our server Carla, was lovely and made it a special night for us. The food was delicious, we ordered the lamb chop and ceviche to start, and for entres we order the miso black cod and the vaquero bon in. Highly recommended :)
It’s a really neat looking venue but very loud music/noise play. It was so loud that it was hard to hear the waitstaff when they asked questions or were confirming our order. I also put that it was our anniversary and pretty sure the table next to us got the celebratory drink as they seemed confused in why they received it.
