We had a great dinner at Zama. We had the calamari, lamb lolipops, sexy pink roll, tunalicious roll, and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. We had a nice bottle of wine with our dinner as well. The service was excellent. We are looking forward to returning soon.
Sat outside on 5th Ave. The street/sidewalk is so gross. Being a Sunday, foot traffic was low. Being a Sunday, service was slow. We had dinner before a concert at Petco so restaurant filled up with other concert goers but it appeared there was only one or two servers. Food was meh.
We visited Zama on a Saturday evening before a concert at Petco. We arrived shortly after the 5pm opening for a 5:15 reservation, and were one of the first parties seated indoors after getting through a short queue. The hostess seemed to be working quickly , and I saw some confusion arise as she directed people to a table without actually being walked over. Every staff member was so attentive. We arrived a little late for our reservation due to Lift issue, but they were understanding. The ambience was fun and amazing! Food was delicious and creative. Will definitely go back.
I come to Zama pretty often and it never disappoints! The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is great. This time I tried the new Chocolate sphere dessert and absolutely loved it — the chocolate melts right in front of you, making the whole experience even more special. Definitely one of my favorite spots!
The sushi, octopus and ceviche were outstanding. The service and atmosphere were also top notch. Such a great/eclectic menu. I look forward to going back and trying more.
