Food was amazing, the best sushi ive had in san diego for sure. Lamb lollipops and the octopus were also delicious. Definitely a loud restaurant, they have a DJ but we loved it and loved the music!
Incredible food- salmon was spectacular. Awesome drinks as well and the staff was very attentive.
I think everyone went there for birthday celebrations, and ask they should because it’s spectacular with the sparkler candles!!!
What a find for dinner! I had the ahi and my husband had the whole branzino. Both were soooo delicious. The restaurant is very international and fun. Our hostess was from Ukraine and our server was from Argentina. The lemon cake with sparkling firework candle was an exciting touch for my birthday! I highly recommend this restaurant. We sat outside and had a lovely night!
Food was sub par, atmosphere was really cool, paying more for atmosphere than food quality

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was a lively happy Vibe. So appreciative of the other diners at ZAMA who fully embraced our moment and made it memorable. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Non-attentive service. Food was decent but overpriced and very small portions. Atmosphere was great, especially for large groups or celebrations.

FOOD: 2 stars out of 5 stars We ordered two dinner entrees. 1. scallops with risotto: The scallops were not cooked well. They were tough and chewy. The risotto was borderline cold to lukewarm warm. The portion was small for the price. 2. braised short ribs: The braised short ribs was a 3 out of 5 mainly because of portion size. The flavors were mediocre. I’ve had better braised sh... read more
