Five Stars The best leaf catcher. PERIOD.
Very Good.. Very Good... except the hose easily wraps around the canister. To combat that problem tilt the canister so the hose will slip off easily. This can cause a new problem. The bottom of the canister is not solid. There is a rubber membrane that allows the water to drain when you pull it from the pool to clean, but if the bottom becomes exposed to air during normal operation air will be drawn in and can starve the pool pump.
This works much better than the white aftermarket canister I had bought first This works much better than the white aftermarket canister I had bought first. I holds a surprising amount of debris, attaches properly to the Zodiac hose system(the other one would come apart when the pump turned off leaving the system to suck in air when it turned on again), and is much easier to empty. Sturdy good quality. Worth the money.

Read if you have an in-ground pool I have an in-ground 30,000 gallon pool and open/close the pool myself. Getting lazy last, fall the leaves didn't get vacuum-up before putting the cover on... That was a dumb thing to do because they were all matted to the bottom in the Spring. I quickly tired of emptying the strainer basket in my pump every FIVE minutes and tracked this Leaf Cleaner down in Amazon.
