As good as it looks Replaced my Hayward leaf catcher because I was tired of fighting the o-ring every time I needed to empty it. This one is better in every way. It's really easy to empty, it fills back up with water and clears bubbles easily, and doesn't appear to suck air at all. I was a little concerned about the very loose fitting face seal on the lid, which makes it so easy to assemble, but once I put this thing under vacuum pressure, the suction pulled the face seal super tight. Impressive design top to bottom.

its nice to have a leaf catcher that isnt a pain ... does what it says, its nice to have a leaf catcher that isnt a pain in the ass to open. was simple to install and so far works great. only downside is the cost.

Great addition to any pool I purchased this because it always seemed like my pool basket was getting full to fast and then the suction would be reduced so much my skimmer/sweeper basically stopped. Since getting this my pool has never looked cleaner. Just connect between the hoses and you're done! Would definitely recommend.
