Saved my filter This little gadget has truly saved my filter. It works FAR better than other inline leaf and rock catchers. I also have a Barracuda and while that is not required, I notice NO suction decrease. You have to make sure it floats under the water and upright, but other than that it has caught pounds of debris that did not hit my filter.

Good for undersized pumps that loose flowrate. As advertised, it does resist loosing suction, but it also doesn't capture smaller particles. They tend to pass through and get caught in my pump basket. Unless you have an undersized pump that tends to lose flow rate (which I do), I would suggest getting a bag-style leaf filter.
