Looks like an octopus! Very pleased with my purchase of G3! It is amazing how it cleans in places I wouldn't imagine...walls, steps! Hint..give it enough hose to get around pool without curling! Looks like an octopus! Looks aren't everything!

I like it but I took away a star cause it ... I like it but I took away a star cause it doesn't suck up bigger leaves. It also likes to get stuck around the stairs so I have to look at it every so often to make sure it didn't get stuck. I mated this with the cyclonic leaf catcher from Zodiac so I don't have to constantly clean my pump basket. Overall, I'm happy. Just wish it would pick up some of the bigger leaves.
Works well. Set up was a breeze, just ... Works well. Set up was a breeze, just pulled it out of the box, put it together and plugged it into the suction line. Worked perfectly the first time, didn't have to change any pump settings.
Works like it should - it actually moves around the pool ... Works like it should - it actually moves around the pool unlike my POS Hayward Navigator - my second one after several rebuilds. But with the Baracuda, so far so good. Time will tell if it holds up. They all work initially. The Baracuda has a much simpler design with far fewer moving parts than the Navigator so I feel optimistic about it.
BARACUDA G3 POOL VACUUM SWEEPER This is a GREAT pool vacuum/sweeper. I replaced my 12 year old Baracuda G3 with the same model. Very glad it was still available. Since I was already using one, it was an easy install. There were a few components such as 2 elbows and a couple other things, that the User's Manual did not describe; such as what they were for etc. Feel the manual was NOT explicit enough. Suppose I can find more info on YouTube.
