Can't beat the cost Overall it's a pretty good product, granted this is my first cleaner so I don't have much to compare it to. The instructions are weak, we ended up Youtubing how to get it started. Mainly the entire hose has to be filled with water and then hooked up to the line. For us, the easiest way is to hold hose to the water return line till its full and then connect the hose to the dedicated cleaning line or skimmer line. Exceeded Expectations! I had doubts about this because it is much less expensive than other automatic pool cleaners. I planned on giving it a try , but thought I would wind up taking it back. I was totally wrong. This works really really well. Once I got the pressure right using the flow meter, the cleaner started working exactly like it is supposed to. It has gotten stuck a couple of times on account of getting air stuck in the line when clearing out my Leaf Catcher (not included with the cleaner, but a must buy if you have tress surrounding or leaves that fall into the pool, imo) and have had to re-submerge the cleaner and line with my pump turned off, but overall I am very happy with it. The new one is working great! I love the Baracuda This is the second Baracuda I have purchased for my pool. The first one lasted 8 years. I did have to replace some parts periodically on the old one (especially the yellow "bladder" piece) but it was totally worth it. The new one is working great! I love the Baracuda G3
Works great, but.... I just got this pool cleaner, and use the 1 meter hoses that came with it, so they are all straight (out of box). it works great so far, but has a propensity to to crawl along the side walls, and not across the middle/deep areas. Any suggestions? more hose, less hole, adjust flow ?
Four Stars Love it. Very simple to install and was very easy to use. Definitely worth the $200 price tag.
Second purchase of this item... i had ... Second purchase of this item...i had one at my previous home and left it with the new owner. When we put in a new pool at my current home I bought another. Can't beat it for the money. Be patient with setup and "fine tuning" to get the right suction.
