Great so far! I got this cleaner as a replacement for my 8 year old Pentair Sand Shark at a great price from Amazon. I finally got tired of replacing gears and other parts on an annual basis. It was really easy to put together - just snap on the deflector wheel and pull on the finned disk and you're ready to go. My pool has a dedicated suction port so I didn't need all the parts they include for using the skimmer outlet. Five Stars great replacement for my barracuda skimmer
pool cleaner It is really obvious of low maintenance not alot of moving or complicated parts which is one of the reasons why I chose it however it does only about 70% of pool area , the hose keeps a certain tension on it which keeps it going in a pattern over n over again then on the next day it will go another pattern, still only about 70% of surface. My hose connection is center of our 12 x 24 pool. It does pick up small leaves. The hose on all these type cleaners give it a resttiction of complete movement.

Hi Leo, Sorry to hear your G3 is not covering your entire pool. Here are some suggestions to help resolve that issue: 1. Add return diverters or divert return inlets downward. Use flow to move cleaner to opposite end. 2. Move hose weight away from cleaner head slightly. In deep pools add additional weight. Amazing Cleaner. Glad I purchased. My aquabot got fried. To fix it would have cost $700. I did a quick google search and this popped up. I was a little hesitant to purchase based on some of the reviews but I gave it a shot. When I received the G3, it was nicely packaged. Putting it together was pretty easy. With that being said, the instructions aren't very well written and more confusing than they need to be. Once I figured out how to assemble it, I dropped it in the pool and it worked amazing!!
