Best Vacuum Ever Best vacuum I ever bought. And we have had several. My pool is built in and 40 by 30!!!! Well worth it. My last vacuum was a $750 robot and this thing is better!!!!
It will suck up leaves This will be my third Barracuda in 20 years, this unit is bullet proof. It will suck up leaves, dirt, needles and even small rodents.It is the a 350 Chev rolet engine, Budweiser Beer, Maytag washer, always super dependable!
Pretty disgusted so far with the guide paper included and ... Forget quick instructions papers as too abstruse & incomplete. Look @ Online Manual. Just got the unit and now see it will be another 25%+ COST for the "leaf debris" catcher; even needed for Relatively Small debris (as the nylon mesh unit interior hose protector) otherwise can tend to clog up. Best for my money in my inground, vinyl-lined pool This is my second Baracuda. The first still operates but it's about 20 years old and was due replacement. After checking with my son-in-law, who owned a pool service, he recommended this cleaner for our inground, vinyl-liner pool over costlier, more complicated cleaners. It's a great device, with virtually no mechanically moving parts. The only thing that fails on these is the bladder/valve which may tend to split after some years.
