made pool maintenance MUCH easier Spent much less time cleaning up the pool this year with this installed. Easy to set aside when using the pool.
it actually can climb the walls and a step! very satisfied with this pool cleaner; previously had a Hayward Navigator and the Zodiac does a much better job.
Lasted 1.75 years I have had no complaints with performance to this point, but about 3 months short of two years something has broken and one side no longer rotates. I see replacement parts are available, so I expect to be able to DIY-repair, but wanted to share for others budgeting based on product life expectancy.
Still good at almost two years It recently stopped moving, which I initially thought was a broken part. It turned out to be third party treads that I installed six months ago. I am impressed that the design is also user serviceable, and replacement parts are not unreasonably priced. I hope that means I can keep it running for several more years with appropriate maintenance.
A couple of things to consider before purchase Purchased this cleaner 1 1/2 years ago. Product works as advertised but there are a couple of things to consider before deciding this pool cleaner is right for you. First, long slender palm fronds will get stuck in the unit and stop if from moving. Secondly, and more importantly, the hose falls apart. Did not get stuck Works Great I Was Worried But Ater 2 Hours Pool is Cleaned and no issues and does not get stuck great buy!!
Clean pool all the time We keep our pool open and swim year round here in SWFL. After hurricane Ian we needed a new pool vac to replace the one we lost. This works perfectly!!! Set up and install was easy right out of the box. After skimming the big pieces from the pool we let the vac run for 8hrs and it took care of all the dirt and small debris that found it’s way in the water. Easy to store since all the hoses come apart.
Perfect for cleaning our pool. Living in Arizona we get bad storms with wind, dust, and rain. Pool is like a magnet for dust. Our infloor system does a good job but leaves spots still dirty, we purchased this to take care of those areas, works perfectly. Just put it in the pool and let it go, hours later the pool is clean. Works very well once we got it dialed in and not climbing out of the pool. Easily climbs the walls for cleaning. We put it in the pool once a week. Perfect for cleaning our pool.
