Great Pool Cleaner!!!! This thing works great! Just make sure you get all the air out of the hose & vaccum head or it will keep stopping. I have a 33x18 above ground oval pool and had to buy 2 extra hose extensions to cover it ($9 each). Takes about 2 hours to clean my pool but now i can do something else like cut the grass while its being cleaned! Graet product, great price!
Sure beats standing in the sun vacuuming the pool! We have a rectangular above ground pool in our back yard and this has been quite a help. We are still getting used to using the Ranger as it does on occasion climb the wall of the pool. Plenty of hose was supplied with the vacuum and it seems to well made. We receive it fast from the seller and it was well packaged.
Good value but has a mind of it's own. I took me 4 weeks of experimenting to get it working properly. I finally got the suction speed, nipple position, & hose length right. I hope it continues this way.
Baracuda Great product exactly what we wanted for our pool, easy to assemble and use. Glad we made the purchase. Great!
Works Good Have a 27' round above ground pool with plastic steps. Does well but wants to get hung up around the steps all the time.
Nice Above Ground Pool Vacuum Prior to my Ranger purchase, I had a vacuum for 7 years that frustrated me because it always got stuck on my steps. It did a great job, but I couldn't leave it unattended to go in the house or I would come back out and it had gotten stuck and the pool was not finished. Barracuda ranger I have only used this and the leaf canister this year. Works great! I have a 15 mo old so I could not get in and out, in and out. I had to stay out with it for the year's first vacuuming ( leaf canister fills up nicely) but ever since plug it up and let it run. It would get 5 stars but, I have to rig it sometimes to get it on one side of the pool. The outflow pushes the hose over. I have no problem with it.
Baracuda is a time saver and works well. This Baracuda Pool cleaner works good and this has been my first summer with it. This cleaner has eliminated me so far from doing it manually. The only knock I have on it is I have pancake steps that enter into pool and sometimes but not all the time it can get stuck around steps . I have learned to go check on it are throw it in while Im out working in yard or cutting grass. great life span My mother in law finally bought this to replace her first baracuda. she had it for 4 years with replacing a few parts. She figured instead of buying more parts or hoses that she needed just buy a whole new one. They LOVE their ranger. It always makes quick work of cleaning the pool after uncovering it from the winter. They have a neighbor with many crepe myrtles and pecan trees so there is always tassels, pollen, and pink flower bits, and this sucker just keeps on taking it!
