great pool cleaner for the price Works very well for the price. Make sure you do not use too much hose lengths it comes with. It will sometimes get kinked and the cleaner will not move around pool bottom properly.
great deal This is my first pool cleaner... on the advice of my neighbor I decided to get it... shipped very quickly... got notices through amazon via text when it would ship and arrival date and even got text saying it had been delivered!! Talk about service! WOW ... put together AND hooked up within 5 minutes and it works GREAT!!!!! very quiet ...would recommend this product, especially if your not into complicated devices!! a must have!!! My weekends are completely overwhelming with the yard, kids, and pool. I got the Ranger to try to save the time an energy of vacuuming my pool by hand every week. I have used it 2 times already and it is a life saver! It works great, is quiet and gets the job done. My only complaint was not buying one sooner!
Question Does anyone know if you have to have a certain horsepower motor to operate this cleaner. My friend has a intex 18' above ground pool and I hooked it up to the inlet side and it will suck but not very well. I have a 1 horse motorand it does great
impressive results I purchased Ranger after reading several reviews and let me tell ya, this product is great. After opening my pool and to clean the pool for the first time after 5 months, I threw Ranger in my 16x24 oval pool and watched it go. It worked very well and sucked up all debris, leaves etc from the bottom of my pool. I had to clean my pump filter 5 times b/c the Ranger had stopped moving b/c of loss of pressure. Baracuda Ranger is great We haven't had a pool cleaner in several years. I was tired of having to drag out the vacumn and all the hoses on a regular basis. I started to research above ground pool cleaners.. and with tossing around a couple, I decided on this one. This cleaner has made my life so much easier. I give it thumbs up.
Great product and fast delivery Ordered product on Friday and received on Wednesday, very easy to assemble and set up on the pool, well made and works great. One word of advice, make sure you get enough hose links. I have a round 32' pool and need to get at least two more links then what comes with it because it goes around in a circle in the inner part of pool because it does not have enough links to stretch out to the outer part of pool.
barracuda My Baracuda pool cleaner came when promised. It was easy to assemble and works very well. A barracuda automatic vacume is a must have for any pool.
