We love 54th Street. We usually go once a week and we sit in the bar every time. The food is good, the service is always great, but someone please tell me why they consistently let the 9 year old baseball teams come in and sit in the bar area? We were having a lovely time, and in our party of five we were spending a good bit on food and alcohol. And then the baseball team came in. They took up five tables and were so loud we could not hear each other at our own table. Kids do not belong in the bar. Period.
Parents took us 4 to eat at this place for my birthday, we all got sick and knew the food tasted different and thought because they changed the menu, what we usually get didn't taste the same . Parents paid 85 dollars and we said never again, so they insult us by giving us a $20 gift card to come back lol, what a joke, we won't be going back anyways, i think they need this money more than we do. I spent a wonderful birthday that whole night puking my guts out, so did my parents and husband. thanks 54th street lol great gift!
Never had a bad experience here! The food is awesome, service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is great!
Service was good. Food was good. Cold beer makes it better. I usually sit at the bar where there is usually a spot available. The staff was attentive and patient.
This has been a "go to" for us until recently. Went there to watch a Stars playoff game. Lots of people there for the game, and admittedly a lot who weren't. Still, local team... playoffs...most of the TV's were on the game. I asked about turning the audio on and was told that the Area Manager, when called, said "maybe if it was the Cowboys we would but we're not a sports bar"...and that was all I needed to hear. Terrible customer service. Went here for my sons birthday. We're quoted 40 minutes. Found out they seated the table they had been holding for our party. No apology from the staff or management. Didn't even see a manager the entire time we waited. After waiting an hour and 20 minutes we decided to leave and go across the street to Parry's who got us in right away. Will not be returning.
This was literally the worst service ever. I usually don't leave reviews but we drove an hour to actually come here for a family birthday dinner. Terrible service
Sat at the bar, didn't want to wait 10 minutes for a table. First - Don't miss the brussels sprouts! We did the dinner for 2: Fried cheese - meh, frozen mozzarella strips... I'd skip that next time. 2 medium rare top sirloin steaks, flavorful, odd shape but yum. Sprouts 10 out of 10 Cheesecake to go with strawberry and chocolate sauce, delicious. 2 margarita, full glass servings, bigger than expected. Total bill: $61 and change Service was delightful, quick and helpful with selections.
Late night special was good. Friendly service and great food! Drinks 10/10. Can't wait to go back
