Terrible customer service. Went here for my sons birthday. We're quoted 40 minutes. Found out they seated the table they had been holding for our party. No apology from the staff or management. Didn't even see a manager the entire time we waited. After waiting an hour and 20 minutes we decided to leave and go across the street to Parry's who got us in right away. Will not be returning.
This was literally the worst service ever. I usually don't leave reviews but we drove an hour to actually come here for a family birthday dinner. Terrible service
Sat at the bar, didn't want to wait 10 minutes for a table. First - Don't miss the brussels sprouts! We did the dinner for 2: Fried cheese - meh, frozen mozzarella strips... I'd skip that next time. 2 medium rare top sirloin steaks, flavorful, odd shape but yum. Sprouts 10 out of 10 Cheesecake to go with strawberry and chocolate sauce, delicious. 2 margarita, full glass servings, bigger than expected. Total bill: $61 and change Service was delightful, quick and helpful with selections.
Late night special was good. Friendly service and great food! Drinks 10/10. Can't wait to go back
As a whole we have always hood service and food at 54yh. However tonite we experienced very disappointing service. We e watched as others came after us and we're waited on by our same waiter, had their appetizers and food delivered long after we had ours. The food was Luke warm when delivered. I had baked potato soup and it was cold to the point where it was inedible. When I said I couldn't eat it he said he'd get another. It was another ten mins before he showed up. Was seated and waited 20 minutes with absolutely no service. Hostess and multiple servers walking around aimlessly helping no one with no check ups. Maybe one waitress was actually working her section. Horrible service.
Reason for my two star : 1. Service was slow 2. Food came out cold 3. Food was bland The first time I went to 54th st. Back in 2020. It was busy the vibes were good. The food tasted good. Service was great. Then I went back a couple times between then and todays date. 2023. And every time I went back it was like everything was going down. This last visit was probably my last. They need to change up the menu. Add a little to the food.
Everything is always amazing. Tried the Sirloin steak power grain bowl and just like everything else...I was impressed. Thanks again! We will be back.
I'm not one to write bad reviews, but what a terrible experience. So many mistakes from wait staff and kitchen. And cold food. Never again...
