I had a party of 16 12-15-18 around 2pm Graduation party. Someone was at the restaurant to start the reservations. Spot was reserved two days ago for a party of 16. we didn’t get seated til 45 to 50min later. The issue use I ordered a drink and four appetizers at the same time. Our waitress name was Katie she brought out the drinks then took the orders of the other people in my party. This past week, my friends and I planned on going to 54th for our Friendsgiving. We waited over an hour for our table - which we had expected since it was a larger group. Once we were seated we were greeted by our waitress to start our drink orders. 7 of our group members are 21+. The waitress began checking our Illinois drivers licenses (as expected), and started making snarky comments about how our ID’s were “shiny”. Service was mediocre definitely room for improvement. Food was ok, disappointed in the potato soup as it was 90% cream and very few potatoes.

Any restaurant that is uninterested in reservations for parties or 20, instead insisting they can accommodate without issue, only to try to separate the party in diffrent parts of the restaurant in destine to lose business. The hostesses was great and tried keeping the group in somewhat of a group, but management lost the business. Service was horrible, they got our order wrong and lied about our wait when we got there. Won’t be going back!
I reached out to the manager re: a discrepancy on my debit card. I was told the corporate office would contact me over a month ago. Needless to say I haven’t heard a word and I will not be back nor recommend it. I left cash as a tip and apparently the waitress was greedy and penciled in her own tip as well !

Dont go for your birthday dinner they cant accomodate 17 people.. really just lost 17 customers..went to El Maguay instead.. yes they CAN accomodate us..
