I have had several storage units at this facility because it was close to the University of San Diego and I was generally pressed for time. The staff was nice enough at first, although there is always a sign for "deals" out front, and when I asked about them they told me they did not have any deals happening at the time. When I went to move my belongings out of the unit I asked if they had any dumpster or trash on site and they told me no. Very nice people in the office. Very expensive spaces. Found one for $45 less per month at Scripps Mira Mesa Storage.

This was my first time putting my belongings in storage. I was scared at first however,Mission Valley A-1 had amazing customer service that eased my mind! Another concern of mine were bugs. I can say that I didn't see a bug during my visits in my storage unit. They have amazingly clean units and great friendly customer service. Also it was easy for my to stop my service when I was ready that made me even happier. I definitely recommend A-1 Mission Valley!

Really liked this place, the people at the front desk are always super friendly. They made starting and ending my storage period really easy. They also have a military discount! The facility itself was nice and really affordable for the size unit that I had. Highly recommend!

Great office staff, everyone was friendly & the guy (not sure his name) made suggestions that ended up saving us money. Our storage was very clean (my biggest priority). I had a great experience.

A1 Self storage took such great care in getting me set up for my new storage. Harold made sure I got the right size and gave me great suggestions. Patty, really had so much patience. She was cheerful and explained everything. The office and property were super clean too! I would recommend this storage company.

I am purchasing a new mattress and decided I should keep my present one in case I did not like the new one. So I went to look for a storage facility near me, as I have to pay to have someone take it over. A-1 Self Storage was great. They said they would hold one for me for a couple of weeks, and I even was going to get a discount. No contracts, I could sign up month to month, and no deposit until I actually needed it.
