This is a great storage place. Ive stored at a couple A-1's before so I knew to come back because I already had a lock that the last place. I came today to rent a locker with Harold. He was very fast and efficient . Moving is a drag and the last thing I wanted to do was spend all day getting a storage. After we looked at a spot we went to do the papers I was out within 5 minutes. Repeat customer for a reason!!! When moved back to San Diego and needed some temporary storage while finding a house I didn't hesitate to call A-1 in Mission Valley. Super friendly and helpful staff, great location, and great prices!

I am really surprised I feel as compelled as I do to leave a Yelp review about a self storage center, but here I am. I reserved online based on the videos A1 had on their website. When I arrived Patty was the most friendly and helpful person I have interacted with in a long time. She confirmed my reservation only to call and check around the alternate nearby A1's prices, deals and sizes. I have always had a great experience at A-1storage. I'm greeted with a friendly smile and knowable greeters. Patty has always found the best storage unit and every need, rather it is the first unit or an additional space. They are always clean and tidy.

Nice and clean facility, friendly and extremely helpful staff (Evan in particular was so nice and drove us around to various units until we found the best size) and easy and straightforward sign up process. I highly recommend this A-1 Storage location.

Some of the friendliest staff around. Location is nice, and clean. Only the 2nd time I have had to store stuff. A little more expensive than some places. But the actual units are worth it. The only down fall was the particular size I needed didn't have any specials going on at the time.

First month was half off which was a really good deal. They were nice and very helpful... I can't remember the lady name but she wore glasses and has a short, black haircut and she is AWESOME! Only thing, wish I would've seen that I can get 3 free boxes for checkin in lol.

My boyfriend and I recently rented a storage unit from here and Patty assisted us. I have rented from them before when I moved out of my place downtown and didnt have a place to move into yet... I was so impressed with them that I knew just where to go when we needed a storage unit to rent.
