Great food, great waitress… but slow slow slow… waited too long for our food. Took over an hour to get our food.
Very average food for the price. We came up from Dallas and really didn’t know the area well so just looked at reviews. Abendigos is like a converted sports bar trying to be a high end steak restaurant, and simply put - it’s not. Very average rib eye, and we probably incorrectly ordered the ribs - very fatty. My wife had the chicken Madeira and that was dry, overall a disappointing experience for over $200.
Steak ordered medium rare was very rare and too salty to eat. Wait staff left a dirty rag on the table for most of the meal. Waiter was missing from the time the food was delivered and took forever to get the bill. Been there before and it was quite good. BTW it was our 35th anniversary dinner.
The 12 oz Ribeye was a thin breakfast ribeye and not even close to 12 oz! Green beans were hard, undercooked and tasteless. They were not edible! When booking online, I noted we were celebrating 2 milestone birthdays. This was not acknowledged in any way. Tea was weak. We were seated in the first room near hostess stand. It was not very private and many people passed our table constantly to get to other tables in other rooms. It was not a very enjoyable experience. Very pricey and disappointing overall.
Honestly so disappointed. Maybe it was an off night. By the time we got our silverware our food was cold. Very expensive dinner to eat cold.
Service was absolutely terrible. Despite having a reservation it took over an hour and a half to even get our food ordered.
Food was mediocre given the price and the margaritas are pretty bad for 14-15$. I wish they wouldn’t spray so much chemical cleaner on the tables. It’s all you can smell.
Ordered a Ribeye. Was the toughest steak I have ever had. Manager did comp but would not recommend
This place is over priced for the quality of food you get.
