This place is over priced for the quality of food you get.
We had a rude waitress and the food was sub par. Guacamole is just smashed avocados and the brisket tacos were just plain gross.
As someone who previously was a server, I don’t think I’ve ever seen or had worse service. Waited on getting our check for over an hour after finishing our dinner and we were never checked on. The food was mid at best. We were a simple table; one app, one main per person (6 people). It’s the nicest looking restaurant in Hochatown but go sometimes else. We were only drinking water and all 6 of us ran out of water and we were never given refills. It happened with the table next to us too and they were there for less time and t... read more
The bill was $300 for 6 people with two of them sharing a plate. The food was not that good and my husband's steak was over cooked. The best thing of the night was the Sicilian nachos. This place is a tourist trap in my opinion.
Heather was great but the Louisiana Pasta was a big disappointment. Pork ribs were good, however the potato salad left something to be desired.
To begin with, Caleb, our waiter, was amazing and did a great job. However, the food was just awful. We started with the truffle fries, which were just bagged fries drowned in truffle salt—so much truffle salt that it made them hard to eat. We had to "tap off" each fry before eating. Next, we both ordered the filet. The steaks were cooked to the correct temperature but way over-seasoned. My wife could not even eat hers. The mashed potatoes were inedible. The spinach tasted like it had taken a bath in vinegar. The baked potat... read more
Service was VERY slow and they seemed somewhat empty. We received our appetizer before our drinks which were ordered before. The live music was good and a nice touch. We also liked the outdoor area. The fact that they charge a fee for credit card use is appalling especially for a vacation area. The fee was reason enough to never go back. That is a pet peeve of ours and part of doing business. Absolutely ridiculous standard in 2024.
We have visited Abendigos many times and this was our worst experience. We’ve known most of the servers for years, but only recognized one person who seated us. We think most of the staff must be gone to the new casino in town. We always have reservations and had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. My steak was thin and not worth the price. My wife’s backed potato came with sour cream which she did not order. Other tables where also having trouble getting orders correct. Its the most expensive place in town so you expect better... read more
Our service was not that great. Patio was very hot. They needed more fans. And our main course food was ok... the Mac and cheese and the Sicilian Nachos are where it's at. Other than that I'm not too thrilled with the experience for what we paid.
