The food was delicious, a little pricey, but very tasty... and our waitress was very sweet.. however, the patio dining (entertainment) was way too loud. They sang good, etc, but you couldn't even visit with each other at all. It took our food about an hour to get to us, and they werent very crowded, which seemed way too long to wait when you are sitting with others and can't even have a conversation either.
I had seen several reviews that were great and several reviews that were not so great and decided to go ahead and try this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. We had an 8:00 reservation (we noted in the reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, so they knew we were there to celebrate a special occasion) and they were really busy when we arrived. Too expensive. Guac, salsa, chips for an appetizer, 2 entrees under $20, and 2 kids meals, no alcohol, came to $80?? What??
Took over an hour to get our food served. Very slow service, food was ok.
The food was terrible. Service was par, at best. Live music had issues. Hostess unfriendly. Will not return.
The food was terrible! We didn’t eat our food. It was all fat and no meat on the tacos. The chicken egg rolls were full of thousand island dressing and not much else. This was my birthday so I was very disappointed.
Very bad experience. The food was not good at all. The steak was a very poor cut and I ordered only wine reduction topping, but was given every topping, blue cheese sauce, onions, and wine reduction. When I questioned it, the waiter said that it was correct. Also, we ordered mac and cheese for one of the kids and truffle mac for our adult side, and they were exactly the same except dried parsley sprinkled on the adult side. We had reservations at Abendigos based on the reviews for their great steaks. I will agree that their steaks were soaked well, tender and tasty but extremely fatty. We both ordered and both of our plates were fatty with a small amount of meat to enjoy. We were left disappointed because it was tasty and was only able to enjoy half of our 16 oz order.
